The Stanford Travel Emergency Line (STEL) is staffed by Stanford's Operator Services Center. Available 24/7/365, STEL operators will identify the type of caller, their assistance provider, and the type of assistance needed before warm transferring calls to the appropriate third party provider (International SOS, On Call International, Assist America) or Stanford Global Incident Commander.
